ATHR Gallery

ATHR acts more than a gallery, providing opportunities for furthering knowledge and experience through its multidisciplinary space in Jeddah and beyond. Through its extensive programming, ATHR has pioneered an uncovering of the Saudi contemporary art scene, extending it to the world, putting Jeddah at the forefront.

ATHR holds a minimum of 9 in house exhibitions per year, with an average of 3 international exhibitions. ATHR provides opportunities for artists to participate in international art fairs. Through its program, ATHR is dedicated to discovering and fostering new artists using its Young Saudi Artists (YSA) initiative to achieve this goal. As well as the annual 21,39 Jeddah Arts, in collaboration with Jeddah’s art patrons that includes curated exhibitions, gallery openings, and public programs.

ATHR’s mission is realised through funding production, research and residency programs, with initiatives such as the Maan Grant, a fund to support practicing artists to actualise their works and Out of Place, an artist residency fund.

In 2022, ATHR launched ATHR foundation, a non-profit organization that provides financial and moral support for artists through an extensive program.
