
Expatriates using Jeddah International Airport should be aware that 12 things are prohibited from entering the airport in order to maintain security. This list was made public by the authorities in an effort to improve airport arrivals' safety and security.
Products on the restricted list include alcohol and all forms of intoxicants. Pens, cameras, and electrical and electronic gadgets that can be used for spying or other illicit activities are also forbidden. The list of forbidden items also includes e-pipes that contain flavors, risky games like poker, gambling paraphernalia, strong lasers, rare metals like raw gold, sexual objects, fake money, magical devices, and food that is imported in large amounts for commercial purpose.
In order to expedite travel procedures and guarantee a safe flight, airport authorities have asked all passengers to cooperate with the appropriate authorities. When returning from overseas, it is crucial to make sure that the parcels donated to those in need don't include any of these forbidden goods. Authorities also cautioned that if such items are unintentionally carried in luggage or in possession, there is a chance of facing serious legal issues.
