A new educational visa program was launched to attract foreign students and academics to Saudi Arabia

In an effort to strengthen Saudi Arabia's academic and research sectors, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have introduced a new educational visa programme aimed at luring international scholars and students to the country. 

Minister of Education Yousef Al-Benyan attended the opening event, which took place on the fringes of the two-day Human Capacity Initiative conference that came to an end in Riyadh on Thursday. Mohammed bin Salman, the prime minister and crown prince, who also serves as the head of the Human Capacity Development Programme Committee, sponsored the conference.

International students who want to continue their study at Saudi institutions will be able to apply for an educational visa through the "Study in Saudi Arabia" website. Facilitating the process for students who want to study in Saudi Arabia and achieving synergy between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education, and relevant sectors are the goals of the educational visa issuing service. 

Foreign students who want to study in Saudi Arabia will have more educational possibilities thanks to the new educational visa service programme. It also strengthens the Kingdom's position as a top global destination for education.

Through the website, foreign students may apply more easily and simply to Saudi colleges for admission. It offers both short- and long-term academic, training, and research programmes in a prestigious, cutting-edge learning environment.
