The Al-Sharqiyah International Beauty Festival for Purebred Arabian Horses opened on Thursday at Al-Ahsa Municipality Castle, running for three days under the patronage of Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz.
Organised by the King Abdulaziz Arabian Horse Center and supported by Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr, the event features 278 horses from 188 owners across six countries.
Participants are competing in 16 races and six championships until March 7, showcasing the beauty and purity of Arabian horses. The festival is considered one of the top Arabian horse beauty shows in the region and supports tourism and heritage in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
