With the marathon festival in full swing and all race categories sold out, the capital is gearing up for Saturday’s main event as the fifth edition of the Riyadh International Marathon reaches its climax.
Hosted by the Saudi Sports for All Federation from January 28 to 31, the event has been expanded for the first time into a four-day Riyadh Marathon Festival, combining top-level athletic competition with community-focused activities that promote fitness, wellbeing, and social engagement. Organized by the federation in collaboration with the Ministry of Sport and the Saudi Athletics Federation, the 2026 edition continues to hold its World Athletics Elite Road Race classification, highlighting the marathon’s rising stature on the global stage.
