The Saudi Passport Department (Jawazat) has confirmed that children on visit visas in Saudi Arabia can be converted to residence visas, provided both parents hold residence visas. This service is available only for children under the age of 18, local media reported, citing the department.
The Passport General Directorate clarified that applications must follow the procedures set by the Jawazat Directorate. However, if only one parent has a residence visa, the conversion service cannot be used.
