According to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, all applicants seeking an Umrah visa for the 1447H season must now make confirmed hotel reservations via the Nusuk Masar portal.
"To improve service standards and enrich the pilgrim experience, housing documentation through Nusuk Masar is now required for all 1447H Umrah visa issuances," the Ministry said on its official X platform, confirming the new requirement.
The new regulations mandate that all Umrah brokers and operators restrict lodging to hotels that have been authorized and licensed by the Ministry of Tourism. Contracts must be uploaded and documented through the Nusuk Masar platform in order to guarantee quality control and transparency.
Failure to adhere to the new criterion may result in visa delays, denials, or financial fines, the Ministry cautioned. It further stressed that all Umrah-related services, such as hotel reservations, uploading housing contracts, monitoring permits, and providing access to multilingual travel materials, are managed through the Nusuk Masar platform.
