The Eastern Province Mayoralty, in partnership with a Thai investor, plans to launch the first phase of the Dammam Global City project by the end of November. The ambitious development will integrate culture, entertainment, and commercial activities.
Faisal Al-Zahrani, the mayoralty’s spokesperson, stated that Dammam Global City is a key strategic initiative aimed at boosting both the entertainment and investment sectors in the region.
Al-Zahrani highlighted that the first phase of the project will feature pavilions from 16 countries, an open-air theater accommodating around 10,000 people, a floating restaurant on an artificial lake, and areas for both traditional and electronic games. Visitors will also enjoy water attractions and international cuisines, offering an engaging experience that blends entertainment with the cultural diversity of the participating nations.
Dammam Global City, a landmark project in the Eastern Province, will merge culture, entertainment, and commerce across over 600,000 sqm, including a 240,000-sqm artificial lake—the largest in the region. With recreational facilities, international dining, and open-air event spaces, it aims to boost tourism and cultural diversity, becoming a major entertainment destination aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.
