The Eid Al-Adha holiday working hours for the Riyadh Metro and city buses have been announced by the city's public transportation system. It has confirmed that train services will terminate at a single time of 12 midnight on all lines, however start times may differ depending on the route.
From June 5 to June 14, the Orange Line will run from 10 a.m. to midnight (which corresponds to Dhul Hijjah 9 to 18). On June 15, it will resume its usual start hour of 6 a.m.
For the remaining metro lines:
- Services will begin on June 5 at 8 a.m.
- Operations will start at 10 a.m. from June 6 to June 8
- Start time will revert to 8 a.m. from June 9 to June 11
- From June 12 onwards, regular operations (starting at 6 a.m.) resume.
The bus service in Riyadh will operate every day from 5 a.m. to midnight from June 5 to June 12.
On-demand buses will also be accessible during this time to accommodate the growing demand for vacation travel.
They advised commuters to obtain real-time updates via the Riyadh transit app and official channels.
