The Old Town Escape House at AlUla offers visitors an interactive, puzzle-based journey into the region’s cultural and architectural heritage as part of the Ancient Kingdoms Festival.
The experience brings the mud-brick Old Town to life, once home to over 900 houses protected by defensive walls, showcasing the community spirit, cooperation and values of its residents. Developed with local input, it transforms Old Town traditions into educational and cultural experiences.
The festival, themed “Journeys Through Time,” runs until Dec. 6, spanning Dadan, Lihyan and Nabataean civilizations, and features immersive activities, live performances, interactive programs and guided tours celebrating 7,000+ years of heritage.
