On Friday, Jeddah inaugurated its first Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, a pioneering initiative aimed at accelerating the development of local entrepreneurs and emerging startups.
The Community Jameel Saudi Foundation is supporting the effort, which is being led by the Start Smart Entrepreneurship Center.
The extensive program establishes an immersive setting in which entrepreneurs, business owners, and startup founders may use AI technology to revolutionize their endeavors. The lab creates a vibrant networking center that links participants with startup accelerators, service providers, innovation hubs, and accomplished alumni from past Start Smart cohorts.
The laboratory functions via three distinct pathways:
Experts facilitate "enrichment encounters," where they exchange ideas on applying AI to different sectors.
The "technology toolkit" component offers in-depth workshops where professionals in the field lead participants through useful AI applications designed for startup development.
Through one-on-one consultations with seasoned business executives, a "mentor connect" service allows participants to access tried-and-true tactics and gain knowledge from both achievements and failures in the entrepreneurial path.
