According to the official Umrah calendar released by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for the year 1447, foreign pilgrims will begin arriving for the upcoming Umrah season on Dhul Hijjah 15, which corresponds to June 11, 2025.
The calendar includes all the pertinent details, including important dates for visa issuance, contracts with foreign agents, and entry and departure deadlines for pilgrims traveling from outside the Kingdom.
The ministry states that the formal commencement of pilgrim arrivals is set for 15 Dhul Hijjah 1446, with visa issuing for Umrah starting on 14 Dhul Hijjah 1446, which corresponds to June 10, 2025. By 29 Dhul Qada 1446, or May 27, 2025, contracts with overseas agents to specify services for pilgrims must be completed.
Important deadlines are also listed on the calendar. March 20, 2026, or 1 Shawwal 1447, is the last day to grant Umrah visas, and April 3, 2026, or 15 Shawwal 1447, is the last day for pilgrims to enter the Kingdom. By 1 DhulQada 1447 (April 18, 2026), pilgrims must leave.
