Grand Mosque introduces dedicated passages for elderly and disabled visitors

The General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has established dedicated pathways for elderly people and persons with disabilities at the Grand Mosque in Makkah, ensuring a safe, accessible, and comfortable environment for worshippers.

Strategically located, these routes simplify movement across different levels and ease entry and exit. Part of an integrated service system, they reflect the leadership’s commitment to high humanitarian and service standards.

Visitors and Umrah pilgrims are advised to use the mosque’s spatial guidance guide to locate these routes, elevators, and supporting facilities, ensuring smooth navigation, especially during peak times.
