International Falcon Breeders Auction opened in Malham

The Saudi Falcons Club's headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh, hosted the International Falcon Breeders Auction on Tuesday.

Top breeders and farms from the Kingdom and around the world attend the exhibition, which runs until August 25. Europe, the Americas, and Asia are all represented, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

The auction serves as more than just a venue for sales; it gives falconry enthusiasts a chance to connect, engage, and exchange ideas about this age-old activity. Breeding farms and providers of equipment are showcased in the numerous pavilions, which include a "Falconer of the Future" display.

Additionally, the event supports the Saudi Falcons Club's efforts to promote falconry's legacy, culture, and development—including the establishment of the first breeding farms and the strengthening of the Kingdom's standing as a global center for the industry.

The top falconers and breeders from across the world are anticipated to attend this year's event, underscoring Saudi Arabia's leadership in protecting intangible cultural heritage and its rising prominence in the falconry industry on a global scale.
