Khobar Season 2025 began in spectacular fashion on Wednesday at the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra).
Titled “Winter is Alive at Ithra,” the opening night brought together media figures, artists, and families for a lively celebration under the Dhahran night sky. The event combined Ithra’s annual media gathering with the official launch of the new season, marking a fresh step toward positioning the Eastern Province as a year-round cultural hub.
Running until April 2026, the season promises concerts, interactive installations, creative workshops, and a showcase of local cuisine. The evening began with a breathtaking light and drone show, transforming Ithra’s architecture into a glowing canvas displaying the “Winter is Alive” slogan.
Visitors gathered at the Knowledge Oasis to experience a fusion of tradition and innovation — from soulful oud performances to mesmerizing digital art displays.
The event also underscored Ithra’s partnerships with local and regional collaborators, reflecting its ongoing mission to empower emerging talent and boost the creative economy.
Beyond Ithra, Khobar Season 2025 will feature outdoor exhibits and multidisciplinary projects exploring the intersection of technology, sustainability, and cultural heritage.
