The King Abdulaziz Public Library, in partnership with the Riyadh Education Department, is set to launch the 26th edition of its annual Free Reading Festival for public school students on Sunday.
Taking place in Riyadh from May 10 to 14, the festival will welcome more than 100 schools, over 1,550 students, along with teachers and educators from across the region.
The festival aims to encourage reading and lifelong learning, expand students’ cultural and scientific knowledge, and support independent reading habits. It will also showcase student talents and help strengthen Arabic language skills.
Through initiatives like this, the King Abdulaziz Public Library continues to promote reading culture and celebrate the Kingdom’s heritage through educational and literary programmes.
