Middle East’s biggest water park Aquarabia opens near Riyadh

Aquarabia, the largest water park in the Middle East, officially opened on Thursday at the Qiddiya City on the outskirts of Riyadh. Spanning 250,000 square meters, the park features 22 rides across eight themed zones, plus seven dry attractions. Highlights include the record-breaking Junoon Drop, Slithereel slide wheel, and Surftopia wave pool with adjustable waves.

Visitors were welcomed from midday with live performances by Saudi artists. The park operates daily from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., with Fridays dedicated to women and children, featuring an all-female staff, live shows, and a modest swimwear showcase by Lanuuk.

Saturday will see the “Splash Fest” event, offering family-friendly activities and a headline performance.

Tickets start at SR275 for adults and SR170 for children aged 4–11, with free entry for those under four upon prior booking. An annual pass costs SR1,200, excluding select attractions.
