The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has detailed the rules governing Hajj leave for employees. It stated that workers who have completed at least two consecutive years with their employer are eligible for paid leave of 10 to 15 days, which includes the Eid al-Adha break.
The ministry also clarified that this leave can be granted only once during an employee’s entire period of service, provided they have not previously performed Hajj. Additionally, employers may decide how many staff members can take this leave each year, depending on operational needs.
