More than 35 million people live in Saudi Arabia, as per GASTAT

There are now more than 35 million people living in Saudi Arabia, according to data published by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT). These numbers show a notable growth in the nation's population from the end of the previous year.

The most recent statistics show that foreigners make up 44.4% of the population, while Saudi natives make up 55.6%. In terms of gender-specific statistics, the country's male population is 62.1% and its female population is 37.9%.

The age-wise statistics are rather startling. 22.5% of the population is under the age of 14, while 74.7% is between the ages of 15 and 64. Just 2.8% of the population is 65 years of age or older.

This emphasizes that young people make up a sizable share of the Saudi population.

It is anticipated that the nation's economy will benefit greatly from the growing number of young people.

For the sake of its young people, the nation is putting various projects into action in the fields of education, training, and improving employment skills.
