The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has introduced a new transportation service that allows visitors to book rides from nearby hotels directly to the Grand Mosque through the Unified Mobility Platform.
The service is designed to make travel to the mosque more convenient for Umrah performers and visitors. Through the platform, guests staying in nearby hotels can easily request a vehicle to pick them up and take them to the Grand Mosque. Users can select either a one-way journey or a round-trip option, with escorted services available to help guide visitors throughout the trip.
The initiative is part of broader efforts to enhance the pilgrimage experience and improve transportation services around the mosque. By simplifying access and providing organized mobility options, the authority aims to support smoother movement for worshippers and visitors in Makkah.
