Over 1,160 hospitality establishments have been granted licenses to operate in Makkah, according to the Ministry of Tourism. This represents a 54% increase from the first quarter of 2025 to the same period the previous year.
The Ministry also conducted over 1,160 inspection and monitoring tours as part of its Hajj season preparations to make sure the facilities meet quality requirements and are prepared to serve pilgrims.
By guaranteeing the availability and preparedness of hospitality infrastructure, the program seeks to improve the overall Hajj experience by empowering pilgrims to carry out their religious rites with comfort and tranquility.
