The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, will introduce flexible working hours across more than 50 government entities in six key business districts to improve traffic flow and commuting efficiency.
Under the initiative, entities governed by the Civil Service System will have flexible start times between 5:30am and 9:30am, while those under the Labor System will operate within a 7am to 11am window.
The programme covers Digital City, Granada Business, Laysen Valley, King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), Roshn Waterfront and the Diplomatic Quarter. Healthcare and public education sectors are excluded.
The initiative aims to ease traffic congestion, improve commuting efficiency, promote flexible attendance and enhance quality of life.
