The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) has launched Riyadh Digital District, an initiative to position the capital as a global hub for technology, innovation and entrepreneurship. The district will attract tech companies and talent across six areas, including AI and big data, cybersecurity, cloud computing, IoT, blockchain, and robotics and drones.
Riyadh Digital District will offer incentives, advanced digital infrastructure and business support for tech companies and startups. The initiative aims to make Riyadh one of the world’s top 10 technology regions and a global hub for digital talent and entrepreneurship.
The RCRC highlighted Saudi Arabia’s strong digital progress, including its top rankings in global ICT, GovTech and AI indexes. Riyadh also topped the StartupBlink 2026 index, recording the fastest growth among the world’s top 100 cities and G20 capitals.
