Saudi Arabia’s Transport General Authority has introduced a new autonomous vehicle route in Riyadh, connecting Hayat Mall and Riyadh Gallery, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The move is part of efforts to expand driverless transport services across the Kingdom and advance smart mobility solutions.
Authorities said the vehicles will operate daily under strict supervision, ensuring a safe and modern travel experience.
The launch follows an earlier phase in which the vehicles completed over 1,700 trips, served more than 3,000 passengers, and covered over 30,000 km, highlighting the project’s success and potential for further expansion.
