Riyadh Metro has announced that it would now begin operating daily at 5:30 a.m., aiming to serve students, employees, and early-morning commuters.
The change is in response to increased demand for the metro service and is part of efforts to minimize reliance on private vehicles, alleviate traffic congestion, and improve mobility within the capital.
Officials stated that the new schedule complements broader ambitions to develop and improve the public transportation network in accordance with sustainability and quality-of-life goals.
