The Riyadh Zoo reopened this weekend with free entry as part of Riyadh Season 2025. Located in Al-Malaz and spanning 161,000 sq. meters, the zoo hosts over 1,600 animals across six zones inspired by natural habitats.
Visitors can enjoy animal feeding and educational workshops. New 2025 experiences include an elephant encounter and a giraffe and African exhibit with an elevated viewing platform. Daily shows such as circus acts, magic performances, and live music are also offered, along with food, retail, and children’s activity areas.
Open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the zoo can welcome up to 12,000 guests, with tickets available via Webook. Established in 1957, it is home to species like the African elephant, giraffe, cheetah, and the endangered Arabian leopard.
