SAMA has announced the launch of a new e-commerce payments interface

A new e-commerce payments interface has been released by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), allowing e-commerce service providers to integrate the Mada payment system with international payment networks and rely on domestic infrastructure.

By using standardized and streamlined technical specifications, this increases the variety of payment methods that users can choose from. In order to allow banks and other financial institutions to provide e-commerce companies with creative financing options, it also launches a centralized registration service.

The purpose of the new interface is to improve the effectiveness of the country's payment infrastructure and keep up with the e-commerce industry's explosive expansion. By utilizing cutting-edge technology like credit card tokenization, the system greatly improves the security of online financial transactions.

SAMA's plan to provide seamless and secure payment solutions, promote the growth of e-commerce payments in the future, and fortify the e-payment ecosystem includes this launch.

Additionally, it facilitates the continuous growth of online companies as well as the rise in online retailers and service providers, such as payment gateways and technical service providers.

Furthermore, by supporting the goals of the fintech plan and advancing digital payment indicators, the launch strengthens Saudi Arabia's standing as a world leader in the payments sector.
