Saudi Arabia’s maritime transport sector achieved significant growth in 2025, with its fleet expanding 32% from 2024, ranking second among G20 countries.
This growth is driven by regulatory reforms, strategic investments, and fleet modernization, reflecting steady progress from the 6.4% increase recorded in 2024.
The Transport General Authority said the achievement supports the National Transport and Logistics Strategy, aiming to position the Kingdom as a global logistics hub, boost trade, and enhance the efficiency and sustainability of its maritime sector.
