Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Commerce has announced a special three-month discount season from August 1 to October 31, 2026, allowing businesses and online stores to offer promotions without affecting their annual discount quota. Retailers can apply for discount permits electronically through the ministry's website.
The ministry has urged businesses to make use of the special discount season while following promotional regulations. The three-month campaign is separate from the existing annual allowance of 90 discount days, giving retailers an additional opportunity to offer promotions without reducing their regular discount quota.
