Saudi Arabia becomes the first country in the world to implement AI for drug safety

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) said in a statement that Saudi Arabia is now the first nation in the world to use artificial intelligence in the area of drug safety. In order to lower risks and guarantee prompt actions in the drug supply chain, the SFDA emphasized that the use of AI is intended to improve pharmaceutical safety and monitoring.

The authority claims that the Kingdom's pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors are expanding quickly due to a significant increase in the number of factories and medical warehouses, more local manufacturing, and strategic incentives for investors.
