A significant step in the Kingdom's efforts to modernize its logistics industry has been taken with the introduction of the first drone delivery pilot for postal packages. The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) and the Transport General Authority (TGA) collaborated on the pilot project, which was launched Thursday.
The drone trial is a component of larger initiatives under Vision 2030 to improve delivery times, increase transportation efficiency, and incorporate cutting-edge technologies into everyday life. Authorities emphasized that the project will open the door for parcel transportation throughout the Kingdom to become safer, quicker, and more sustainable.
