All categories and designations of visit visa holders now have an extended grace period for their final departure, according to the General Directorate of Passports.
Commencing on the 1st of Safar, 1447 AH, the new 30-day window is contingent upon the payment of relevant fees and fines as outlined by Saudi legislation. Eligible people can take advantage of this program by submitting a request via the "Tawasul" service on the Ministry of Interior's online portal "Absher," the statement said.
The directorate advised all visitors to utilize the extended stay within the allotted time to guarantee a lawful departure from the Kingdom and prevent additional sanctions. The program seeks to facilitate adherence to Saudi Arabia's immigration and residency regulations while expediting the leaving process.
