Light to moderate rain is forecast in sections of Eastern Province, Riyadh, Hail, and Qassim, with the potential of fog forming over the southwestern highlands in these locations.
The General Directorate of Civil Defense has issued adverse weather warnings along with safety instructions as the Kingdom braces for moderate to heavy rainfall.
It has issued a warning to exercise caution because thunderstorms are predicted to persist until Monday in the majority of the Kingdom.
The directorate urged people to follow all government directives and warnings disseminated via media and social media platforms, and cautioned them to stay away from valleys and places that are prone to flooding.
Up to 55 kph winds will blow from the northwest to the north over the Red Sea.
