Saudi Arabia has retained its top global ranking in the cybersecurity category of the IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook 2026.
The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) credited this achievement to the leadership and support of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, whose vision has strengthened the Kingdom’s cybersecurity sector.
The NCA noted that continued development since its establishment has helped Saudi Arabia secure leading positions in international cybersecurity rankings, including a Tier 1 “Role-Modelling” classification in the Global Cybersecurity Index 2026 published by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
