A new form of birth and death certificates has been made available in Saudi Arabia. In addition to Arabic, the new certificates will be issued with information in English. A QR code with digital information will also be included with the certificates. The Abshir system, a private platform, will enable these to be verified and printed. The Ministry of Home Affairs' Civil Status Agency created the updated version.
High quality, printing security, and the newest technology are used to prepare the certificates. According to the agency, the project's goals are to offer users innovative digital services and increase the effectiveness and quality of the services they receive.
