Saudi Arabia has launched a Package Visa pilot, allowing eligible travellers to obtain a tourist visa as part of an all-in-one travel package through approved travel and tourism providers in selected pilot markets.
The initiative is a joint effort by the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior and the Insurance Authority. It builds on previous visa reforms, including the tourist e-Visa, visa on arrival and Stopover Transit Visa, which helped the Kingdom welcome over 29 million international visitors in 2025.
According to Tourism Minister Ahmed Al-Khateeb, the Package Visa is designed to make travel to Saudi Arabia simpler, more accessible and seamless.
What the Package Visa includes:
- Eligible travellers can book a single package that combines:
- Round-trip flights
- Accommodation at licensed hotels
- Electronic tourist visa
- Optional tours, events and tourism experiences
Key benefits:
- Simplifies the visa and travel booking process
- Reduces administrative steps for visitors
- Enables travel providers to offer more comprehensive itineraries
- Encourages longer stays and higher visitor spending
Only approved travel providers with digital booking platforms, 24/7 technical support and customer service will be eligible to participate in the pilot.
