Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Sport has launched a new trekking tour licensing service to regulate hiking and trekking activities both within the Kingdom and abroad. The initiative aims to enhance safety and promote sustainable trekking in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
A dedicated trekking licensing section has also been introduced on the Riyadi platform, allowing applicants to submit permit requests online. Applications will be assessed with the relevant authorities to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
