According to the May 2025 issue of the UN World Tourism Organization's Tourism Barometer, Saudi Arabia led the world in the growth of international tourism earnings during the first quarter of 2025 when compared to the same period in 2019.
During the same time period, the Kingdom placed second in the Middle East and third globally in terms of the rise of foreign visitor arrivals.
When comparing Q1 2025 to Q1 2019, Saudi Arabia saw a 102% increase in foreign visitor arrivals, well exceeding both the Middle East's rate of 44% and the global average growth rate of 3%.
