Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector saw strong growth in the first half of 2025, attracting 60.9 million visitors and generating SR161.4 billion in spending, up 4% from last year, according to the Ministry of Tourism.
Inbound tourists stayed an average of 6.7 nights, while domestic travelers averaged 18.6 nights. Leisure, shopping, and sports were key travel motives, followed by religious and family visits.
Makkah and Madinah led in international tourism, while Riyadh and the Eastern Province topped domestic travel.
