Saudi Awwal Bank (SAB) has been recognised as a Leader in Innovation with a 7-Star rating, the highest global recognition for Certified Innovative Organizations (CinOrg®️) awarded by the Global Innovation Institute (GInI). This makes SAB the first bank in the region to achieve the top rating.
The certification follows a comprehensive innovation maturity assessment conducted in December 2025, which upgraded SAB’s status from “Champion” to “Leader.” The recognition highlights the bank’s strong innovation framework, organisation-wide impact, and consistent delivery of measurable results.
In 2025, SAB also launched its flagship Innovation Centre and received six international innovation awards and a lab accreditation, further strengthening its focus on advanced technologies and a future-ready banking ecosystem.
