Saudi Educaton ministry has divided the academic year into three semesters instead of two semesters

Saudi Minister of Education Yousef Al-Benyan stated that the three-semester system used in public education during the 1444 AH academic year is being evaluated and studied by the ministry. The academic year is now divided into three semesters rather than two, with each semester lasting 13 weeks. This was said by the minister while speaking during a government news conference to highlight important improvements and successes in the Kingdom's educational sector. He stated that approximately 70,000 new educational structures had been handed over around the Kingdom.

Al-Benyan complimented the scholarship program's provision of particular specialisations that support the Kingdom's Vision 2030. He emphasised that the ministry is committed to making every effort to improve the role of male and female teachers via professional development and specialised training courses.Al-Benyan emphasised the ministry's establishment of a community fund for its employees in order to maintain the ministry's complimentary connection with its employees.

Al-Benyan lauded the ministry's progress in a number of international metrics, stating that Saudi students received 141 honours in a variety of international contests during the year 1444 AH. He emphasised the ministry's efforts to improve communication and integration among public education, university education, and technical education, as well as to bridge the educational sectors.
