The Ministry of Energy has issued a new directive mandating that motorists in Saudi Arabia must queue properly and switch off their vehicle engines while refueling. Under the new regulation, fuel will not be provided to drivers who fail to follow the designated queue or keep their engines running.
The decision aims to enhance safety standards, regulate traffic flow within fuel stations, and improve overall service efficiency. Gas station operators and employees have been instructed to strictly enforce the rule and refuse service to non-compliant customers.
According to the ministry, this measure will ensure a safer and more organized refueling environment, speed up service delivery, and reduce violations. A circular has been sent to all station managers emphasizing the importance of compliance and customer safety.
