Under the sponsorship of Culture Minister Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan, the third iteration of the Saudi International Handicrafts Week, or Banan, will take place in Riyadh from November 13 to 26. More than 40 nations will be represented at the event, along with more than 400 regional artisans and 20 partners, the Saudi Press Agency said Thursday.

The purpose of the Year of Handicrafts 2025 event is to support local entrepreneurs so they may use their expertise and expand their market presence. The honored guest, China, will highlight the country's illustrious craft heritage. Syria will take part for the first time, showcasing its ancient arts and products, according to Prince Bader, who is also the chairman of the Saudi Heritage Commission.

Additionally, the House of Artisans, a program that aids artisans in the Kingdom, will be highlighted.
