The Saudi Press Agency has revealed that the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has unveiled a new feature that allows users to access the Nusuk app in its entirety without using internet connectivity.
Launched in collaboration with telecom companies stc, Mobily, and Zain, the program seeks to improve pilgrims' digital experiences and make their journey easier during the Hajj and Umrah.
This measure enables local SIM card owners to access the Nusuk app and all of its features without needing an internet connection or a current data plan, according to ministry spokesperson Ghassan Al-Nuwaimi.
Permits, Haramain High-Speed Train ticket purchase, map navigation, artificial intelligence, and reporting and question submission are among the facilities available to pilgrims.
The new feature is anticipated to enhance crowd control, offer immediate access to crucial information and services, decrease the number of people who get lost, and expedite permit verification upon arrival, according to Ahmed Al-Maiman, CEO of the Nusuk platform.
