The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced on Sunday, February 8 (Sha’ban 20), the start of visa issuance for the 2026 Hajj season (1447 AH).
The early rollout follows an accelerated schedule aimed at improving service preparedness and enhancing the pilgrim experience nearly four months ahead of the Hajj rituals, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The ministry also confirmed that contracts for all services at the holy sites for international pilgrims have been completed, along with accommodation agreements in Makkah through the Nusk platform. So far, 750,000 pilgrims have registered, with 30,000 securing packages directly from their home countries.
