Saudi Public Security has urged motorists to maintain a safe distance from other vehicles, warning that failing to do so is a traffic violation carrying a fine of up to SR300.
Authorities highlighted that keeping a sufficient distance helps prevent accidents, particularly those caused by sudden braking or loss of vehicle control.
Public Security stressed that following traffic rules helps protect motorists and other road users, with penalties imposed on violators. It also urged drivers to stay alert and follow safety instructions to reduce accidents.
