Ahmed Al-Khateeb, the Saudi Tourism Authority's Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Board of Directors, officially opened the Saudi Winter 2025 program in Riyadh on Sunday. Over 120 representatives from the commercial sector attended the occasion.
During the launch ceremony, the program's main features were thoroughly explained under the tagline "Winter Live." It revealed the timetable of outstanding events. The main travel seasons and unique events that will take place in different Saudi winter destinations, including the Riyadh, Diriyah, AlUla, and Khobar seasons, were revealed. A significant component of the experience for tourists and visitors from the intended regional and global markets, the event also showcased the goods, attractions, and cultural events.
With the introduction of over 1,200 tourism products and over 600 special offers in several major destinations, including Riyadh, Diriyah, Jeddah, Al-Ula, the Red Sea, and the Eastern Province, as well as other unique destinations like Al-Qassim, Hail, and Madinah, reflecting the natural, climatic, and cultural diversity that abounds in Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Winter program will run through the end of the first quarter of 2026.
A number of new tourism offerings will be included in the Saudi Winter program, such as powerboat races in Jeddah, the World Rally Championship, the Nabd AlUla Festival, poetry evenings, concerts, cultural and theatrical productions, and beach and family activities during the Khobar Season. Along with other noteworthy events, there will also be a special activation in collaboration with MrBeast and the WWE Royal Rumble event during the Riyadh Season.
