Saudia has launched its first scheduled direct trip to Moscow, the Russian Federation's capital, in partnership with the Saudi Tourism Authority and the Air Connectivity Program.
Saudia Group Director General Ibrahim Al-Omar, Russian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Sergey Kozlov, and officials from the Saudi Tourism Authority, aviation, tourism, and media sectors attended a ceremony at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh's Catrion Lounge to commemorate the event.
The first flight, SV0283, took off on a Boeing 787-10, which is well-known for its effectiveness and cutting-edge passenger experience. Sami Alsadhan, the Saudi Ambassador to Russia, presided over the welcome reception at Sheremetyevo International Airport, which greeted the first flight with the customary water salute.
Saudia has introduced a new service operating three times a week between Riyadh and Moscow, strengthening its global reach to more than 100 destinations across four continents.
