As part of a project to use cutting-edge technology to improve pilgrims' spiritual experiences, the Grand Mosque and Prophet's Mosque's Presidency of Religious Affairs unveiled the second iteration of its AI-powered Manarat Al-Haramain Robot on Wednesday.
According to the report, the robot will serve as a resource for religious questions at the Grand Mosque and link worshippers and other guests to direct video chats with muftis who may respond to any queries they may have.
The software and updated version of the robot include designs influenced by traditional Islamic architecture and elements seen in the Two Holy Mosques in Madinah and Makkah.
