The Saudi Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission announced that the third Writers & Readers Festival will take place in Taif from January 9 to 15 under the theme “Your Presence Matters.”
Taif, the Kingdom’s first Creative City of Literature and a member of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network, offers a rich historical and literary setting for the festival. The event will feature literary sessions, discussions, open dialogues, and youth-focused activities to inspire a love of reading.
This edition highlights Saudi Arabia’s growing cultural momentum and its commitment to fostering creativity, artistic expression, and intergenerational connections with culture and knowledge.
